Meet Alan

With over two decades of industry experience, real estate agent Alan Maciel loves the challenge that comes from helping his clients find the home of their dreams. He views each transaction as a puzzle and enjoys guiding people as they put the pieces together. Whether he’s watching a first-time buyer close on their first home or helping a business owner find the right commercial space, he treats each transaction with the care and professionalism that it deserves.

 

Alan’s sales and marketing experience dates back over 30 years, but coaching baseball was actually the precursor to his real estate career. After watching him coach his young team through batting practice, a parent offered him a position managing his commercial office properties, and Alan’s love of the real estate industry was forged. He went on to work as a director of leasing and broker associate before expanding his business into residential sales.

 

Today, Alan is proud to serve both residential and commercial clients in Sonoma, Marin, Napa, and Lake counties. He enjoys working with first-time buyers and military service members as well as seasoned buyers and sellers. He stays up to date on market trends and uses this information to help his clients make informed decisions.

 

Alan resides in Petaluma with his large blended family, and he enjoys spending time with his many grandchildren. He is an avid tennis, golf, and baseball player and is a member of several sports leagues. He firmly believes that being an active member of the community builds thriving neighborhoods and has been a part of the local Rotary Club, the Petaluma Downtown Association, and the Petaluma People Services Center. He also has a springer spaniel/border collie mix named Cuba and loves sharing his adventures with others on Instagram at #CubaDontWakeUpHappy.
